Elizabeth, aka Liz, is a director, producer, and editor based in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently a freelance producer at Google. She has collaborated with National Geographic, Carnegie Hall, ACLU, NYC Department of Education, CUNY Law School, Grand St. Settlement, Edgeline Films, and Vivid Story among others.
Liz Co-Produced Weiner which won US Documentary Grand Jury Prize at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. She was a 2013-14 UnionDocs Nonfiction Filmmaking Fellow and holds an MA in International Affairs from the New School for Public Engagement where she researched how storytelling ignites social change.
She began her career working in finance and later with a food justice startup in San Francisco. After a few years, she escaped the cubical by teaching elementary school in Bhutan and continued her journey teaching in Indonesia and Guatemala.
